Fine lines, deeper facial wrinkles, acne scarring and other facial skin problems can be dramatically improved with laser or chemical resurfacing. These techniques are often added to other repositioning or “lifting” procedures of the face, but can be performed individually. Patients with lighter-toned skin are the best candidates for this type of treatment and specific skin care instructions are needed prior to surgery.
