The majority of cosmetic procedures are performed in our on-site, fully accredited surgical center. It’s important to choose a plastic surgery practice with access to specialized resources and technology to ensure your safety
An accredited surgery center is an outpatient surgical facility that has been formally evaluated by an independent, CMS‑approved organization and found to meet established standards for patient safety, quality of care, and regulatory compliance. In practice, accreditation is what signals that a surgery center is operating at the level required for Medicare participation and most commercial insurance networks.
Ambulatory surgery centers are all-in-one healthcare facilities fully accredited by local and state governing bodies to perform surgery. Our surgery center is optimized for outpatient care, so patients can return home right after their procedure, as well as for short one or two-night recovery visits for more invasive procedures (remove this please, we don’t have overnight stays). The benefits of an accredited surgical center include:
Our surgery center is ideal for the full range of plastic surgery procedures, including facial rejuvenation, breast enhancement, and body contouring procedures.
Our team is ready to help you plan your cosmetic procedure from start to finish.

Most cosmetic procedures, like breast augmentation or facelifts, are outpatient procedures, meaning patients can go home the same day as their surgery, after a period of observation. Our surgical center is specifically designed to accommodate this type of surgery for our patients’ comfort and convenience.
In addition to our team of board-certified plastic surgeons and experienced surgical nurses, our surgical facility is rigorously inspected by the state’s highest regulatory body. Our commitment to patient safety is evident in our standards of cleanliness, regulatory compliance, and cutting-edge technology.
Our surgical center is also a place of quiet relaxation and luxury. Whether you’re waking from anesthesia or resting in pre-op, you can expect an environment that evokes calm ease. We understand that pre-surgical jitters are common for many patients, so our team strives to make the surgical space as peaceful as possible; every detail matters.
The Washington State Department of Health (DOH) inspects and regulates ambulatory surgical facilities through unannounced on-site surveys to ensure compliance with safety standards.
In many cases, yes, it is perfectly safe if you are an ideal candidate for the procedures and they are complementary. For example, facial rejuvenation procedures are often performed in one surgery, such as facelifts, neck lifts, and brow lifts. Mommy Makeovers are combination procedures, so patients often combine tummy tucks, liposuction, and a breast enhancement procedure into one surgical session. The benefit is that patients only have to be under anesthesia once and only have to contend with one recovery session.
However, surgeons may split procedures into two surgeries if the operating time is too long, the procedures are potentially too complex, or there are other safety concerns.
This depends on the procedure you are undergoing. Most will be performed using general anesthesia, which puts patients fully asleep with no pain, ensuring optimum comfort as well as safety. General anesthesia is administered and monitored by a board-certified anesthesiologist to ensure your safety throughout the procedure.
Another option is local anesthesia with IV sedation, which numbs a select area, while IV sedation puts patients in a relaxed, twilight state. This is less common, but it may be used for certain minimally invasive procedures.
